When I order a bike from the helkamavelox.fi online shop, will it arrive fully assembled? 

For transportation, the bike is packed in a box pre-assembled. This means that, after receiving the bike, you will need to prepare it for riding. Most often, this involves at least:

• Attaching the pedals
• Adjusting the seat, stem, and handlebar in the correct position

Depending on the packing method, additional parts to install may include the front wheel, as well as adjusting the brakes and gears. The tools required for these tasks are included with the bike. It is also important to check the tire pressure and add air if necessary. During the run-in period, which covers the first few hundred kilometers, the factory-fitted spokes and bolts on the bicycle may begin loosening. During this time, cables and the chain will also settle and often require tightening. Carrying out initial maintenance, a skilled repair shop will check the bike’s overall condition and ensure that, after the run-in, it is fully adjusted and ready to ride. This way, your bicycle will remain in good condition and be safe and enjoyable to ride. Helkama recommends performing initial maintenance for every new bike.
